Dust control is an issue for many including those in construction, transportation departments and municipalities. On a smaller scale, dust interferes with recreation such as festival/county fair parking lots, hiking trails and golf cart paths.
For those in the construction industry, many cities, towns and municipalities have dust control ordinances that are strictly enforced. In many cases a dust control plan needs to be submitted and approved before any digging, soil relocation, etc. can commence.
Large, undeveloped areas around airports, heliports and operations where large amounts of dust can interfere and/or cause potentially dangerous situations, need to be controlled and maintained on a regular basis.
Recreational activities can be dampened by having to negotiate dusty dirt parking lots or trails. Additionally, the erosion of dirt paths can lead to dangerous situations for bikers or hikers, not to mention having to close paths that become impassable.
Spraying water can help in dust control but the dust control benefits don’t last very long, particularly on hot summer days.
Luckily there are products available which provide longer dust control as well as protection from erosion.
There is no better product than PAVE THE WAY, a silicate-based formulation which provides a simple, safe and cost-effective answer to controlling dust and erosion. Just dilute it in an economical 1:1000 ratio and spray it on the surface. Let it dry and see it create a hardened surface for long lasting dust and erosion control.
